The Bushmen in the Kalahari Desert talk about the two “hungers”. There is the Great Hunger and there is the Little Hunger. The Little Hunger wants food for the belly; but the Great Hunger, the greatest hunger of all, is the hunger for meaning…
There is ultimately only one thing that makes human beings deeply and profoundly bitter, and that is to have thrust upon them a life without meaning.
There is nothing wrong in searching for happiness. But of far more comfort to the soul is something greater than happiness or unhappiness, and that is meaning. Because meaning transfigures all. Once what you are doing has for you meaning, it is irrelevant whether you’re happy or unhappy. You are content – you are not alone in your Spirit – you belong.
How further? What’s next? You are looking back on a nice path that you already have travelled. You have a well-filled ‘backpack’, achieved what you want to achieve. And now? Or do you look back to your life so far and it is not at all what you expected how it should be? Both are serious issues that you have to look at because you are on a standstill, on hold. What would be meaningful* for you to do with your life from now? It is time to have a good look at the content of your backpack. What of it do you need to make the next step or what should be in there to make the next step?
To do so you need a break to figure everything out. A break at our beautiful Phazama Farm in Botswana.
How do you choose the coach that suits you? Trust in your coach is essential for the coaching process. That is why the coaching starts with a free intake (online) of approximately 30 minutes. During the intake, the most suitable course is determined in consultation and we agree on whether we want to continue together. After the agreement a second online meeting will take place to discuss the preparation of your trip and the coaching sessions.
After the first intake a contract will made and sighed by both parties.
Every day one or two sessions of coaching and exercises customized to challenge the area you want to work on will be provided. All of this will take place at our farm at the border of the Okavango Delta surrounded by pristine nature and wildlife. Nature is an important part of the coaching process because all your senses will be triggered again and will help you to find solutions from the heart and mind.
